張りつめた冬の夜　降り散る雪は
水銀灯の光を受けて　煌めく
The falling snow, on a tense winter night
Sparkling as it takes the light of a mercury lamp

ひらひらと　儚げな　銀色の結晶は
いつか二人で見た　夏の蛍火に似て
These fluttering, ephemeral silver crystals
Are reminiscent of the summer fireflies
We once saw together

世界ならもう　とうに　偽物で出来てる
The world has long since become counterfeit

「つかまえていて」って　差し出した君の手に
そっと止まっては　溶けてゆく　真冬の蛍
"Try to catch one" you said, reaching out your hands
A firefly gently lands and melts the midwinter
